Good for You. Good for Us. Good for Earth.

Good Wool

Our most environmentally responsible collection, Good Wool is made from premium, traceable Australian merino wool that is woven at a century-old Italian mill using the latest energy-saving technology. Soft and lightweight with a bit of stretch, it is mindfully made, from start to finish.

Strength and Subtlety

The palette is soft. The tailoring is precise. This spring, Good Wool is a fine balance between substance and style — a classic collection of favorite work wear separates in colors that delight and inspire.

Straight from the Source

On the Beaufront Farm in Tasmania, where we get our wool, the von Bibra family are fourth-generation sheep runners: Deeply committed to both the animals and the Earth, they produce ethically grown, extra fine merino wool from a free-roaming herd. Nurturing the farm's bio-diversity, owners Julian and Annabel von Bibra practice environmental stewardship in partnership with the Bush Heritage and Tasmanian Land Conservancy. Today, the von Bibras also offer training in the Beaufront traditions of animal welfare and care.

From Farm to Fabric

The Tollegno 1900 mill in Biella, in the foothills of the Italian Alps, uses hydro turbines and solar panels to produce its own electricity. The clean, local Alpine water used to dye and process the wool creates textiles of remarkable flexibility and fineness.
