I tap into creativity and inspiration by meditating.

The first thing I do every morning is meditate for 10 minutes.

The thing I’ve achieved that I am most proud of is opening Bonberi on Bleecker, a plant-based pop-up deli with grab-and-go dishes. It’s always been a dream of mine to run a shop where people could eat the food I make for myself and for my site. It’s so rewarding to see people buy a dish and then tell me they loved it!

I’ve been interested in food ever since I can remember! I always loved experimenting in the kitchen. As a child, my favorite things to make were cinnamon sugar toast (not exactly healthy) and “stone” soup from one of my favorite childhood books, which was basically vegetable soup with a rock (cleaned first!) in it.

Three things that everyone should consider adding to their diet are more raw leafy greens, fermented vegetables like sauerkraut and kimchi, and fruit!

I maintain balance in my life by being a mom. There’s nothing like a three-year-old and three-month-old to jolt you back to the present moment.

The one thing I would like to say to every woman in the world is you’re good enough just as you are.
